Banana Café and Piano Bar
It has been a long dream of Jorge Zamorano to have a fun, colorful and exciting restaurant here in DC that depicted the fun atmosphere he experienced living in Cuba, Puerto Rico and his many visits to Mexico. He took that vision and made it into reality.

Zamorano, a self-taught artist, left Cuba to live in Puerto Rico with his family. In San Juan, at the early age of ten, he began to experiment with color and the human form. It’s in the intensity of his use of color that he demonstrates a close affinity with his Caribbean heritage.
