Ready to Rock & Run?
What could be better than running through a beautiful city on a beautiful day? Doing it with live music, of course! And 2013 marks the start of a new and exciting partnership between the Cooper River Bridge Run, The Music Initiative (TMI), and This Is Noteworthy {TIN}.
What makes this run and its music different from all the others? The music is curated and over a dozen of different genres of music are represented. Based on the terrain and the difficulty along the course, musicians were selected based on tunes, tempo, and style. Approximately, every quarter mile (.25mi), a live band will be performing a combination of originals and covers to propel runners to reach their best times and be entertained along the way. The 2013 CRBR will be filled with more music per square mile than any other race in the country.
